Programme Officer
The Children's Cancer Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for young patients and their families by caring for their physical, psychological and social well-being. To cope with our service expansion, we would like to invite passionate applicants to join our dedicated team to support and walk with child patients with medical complex conditions and their families at difficult times.
Descriptions
Duties :
- Provide and coordinate educational, developmental and rehabilitation services, including outdoor activities, exercise programmes, talent development workshops and vocational support for patients / young survivors
- Support social workers to organise small group activities and serve the members of Youth Club and Families' Club
- Recruit and organise volunteer service including those CSR collaborations
Requirements :
- Higher Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or above. Experience in organising children and family / youth programmes and events in NGOs
- Passionate in serving patients and young survivors
- Good computer skills and knowledge of digital media with basic creative design skills will be an advantage
- Having a valid First-aid Certificate is preferable
- Independent, proactive, outgoing, and mature with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Have to work on weekends, public holidays and evenings when necessary
